Hey There!

How have you been and what have you been up to since the last blog?
I talked about SCRIPT PREP in the last video and I promised to explain some of the terms I used like CHARACTER BIBLE.

As an actor, your responsibility is to get to know everything about the person you are about to become.
Knowing your ROLE is more important than knowing the LINES.

In this video I am going to tell you exactly how I break down and analyze my character.
If you can get your CHARACTER BIBLE right (in line with the DIRECTOR'S vision) then half of your work is already done.

This is what shows the difference between a professional actor and a greenhorn.

Thank you for stopping by.

I have an audition on Saturday and I know all my lines and I understand the story, but this just gave me way better insight. I have a monologue and two dialogues, this would give me continuity across all my scenes if I understand the character extremely well. Thank you so much for this

  3. Great book! I found the review at urbannightfeast and I think it will be helpful for all the beginners in acting.

  4. The pragmatic approach of the writer in this blog is praiseworthy.
